Sreaming Lollipops is launching today at Cohiba to take music to
the next level!
Cohiba is preparing
to light up Saturday nights with a unique blend of talent from the best in Goa
– presenting to you, the Screaming Lollipops!
This seven-member
sensation will make its debut today. It is not just a band, but a whole act –
Screaming Lollipops will bring to you a different genre of music every week,
and performances unlike anything Goa’s ever seen, with costumes and showmanship
to rival all others!
Here’s a quick look at the extremely talented members of this
new band:
Amir Ismail
Growing up in a
musical family, with his grandfather being a well-known French horn player and
his father a drummer, Aamir Ismail has been playing the drums and other
percussion instruments for over a decade. Whether it was rock, metal, fusion,
pop, electronica, or jazz, he experimented with new styles and techniques,
leading him to develop his own distinct style. He has toured India, delivering
eclectic performances that leave audiences wanting more.
Cassius
Cassius has been
performing for over three decades. He is no stranger to the world of music. A
fantastic music producer, he is known for unique style of remixing songs.
Whether he performs as a solo artist or with a band member, his stage presence
leaves you mesmerised.
Scott Rodricks
Scott Rodricks is a
true Instagram sensation! His brilliant covers of popular songs force you to
reconsider which one you prefer (you’ll almost certainly prefer Scott’s
version). He’s been singing since he was a child and has shared the stage with
many talented musicians.
Koe Huazel
Koe Huazel is a
versatile and dynamic performer with a vast repertoire ranging from Pop to
Reggae, Motown to Funk, Rock to Jazz and Blues. When she’s on stage, her love
of music allows her to express herself and connect with an audience of all
ages. She knows how to get people to sing along, tap their feet, and dance to
her music while making them feel at ease. You know you’re going to have a good
time when Koe is on stage!
Clinton Mascarenhas
Clinton is a very
talented youngster who began playing for a professional band at the age of 14,
he has shaped himself into a promising drummer with a couple of formal grades
in the instrument from the Trinity College of Music in London.
For this aspiring
drummer, the sky appears to be the limit!
Elton
A tremendously
talented and hardworking musician, Elton plays the flute and harmonica. An
accomplished composer, he also dazzles the audience with his breathtaking
guitar work.
Revellino
Revellino
is an experienced bass player who loves bass effects, he is capable of playing
all kinds of music. Rock, Funk and blues are some of his favourite genres.
Apart from gigging locally and internationally, he is also a studio session
bassist and has done many projects in Goa and the UK. Besides being a music
teacher, Revellino also teaches young bass buds who are interested in becoming
professionals.
