Through the course of the exclusive
interview, Bachchan expresses his love for Goa and how the mere mention of Goa
invites a calm, relaxed easiness. Big B also mentions that he manages to visit
the state at least twice a year. Incidentally, Union Defence Minister Manohar
Parrikar also features in the article where he talks about his interaction with
the actor during the 2004 inauguration of the first year of IFFI in Goa when he
was the Chief Minister.
Dhume said, “I was told that Mr
Bachchan receives more than 50 interview requests every day. I am thankful to
him for agreeing to do this interview. When we did the interview with Deepika
Padukone in September, I thought it was a big achievement, but this is
definitely higher. Deep down, I knew he did this interview only because of his
love for Goa.”
