Indian classical dance form, Bharatanatyam was performed by Shree
Damodar Sangeet Vidyalaya, Comba-Margao under the guidance of Guru Gaurav Vyas
at the Saraswati Puja festival that was organised by Shree Saraswati Sevak
Mandal recently at Damodar Vidya Bhuvan, Comba-Margao. The theme of the
presentation was ‘Nritya Sargam’, in which different aspects of Bharatanatyam
such as Nritta (pure dance) and Abhinaya were being performed along with one
presentation of Lok Dharmi Nritya and one presentation of Yoga Bharatanatyam
blend. In all, 90 performers presented their performance. Guru Gaurav Vyas also
received honours by the organisation for choreographing and performances of his
and his students.
