The most important factor to be considered
nowadays in the campus is it’s Security. Students spend most of their time in
the campus and hence it should be a safe haven for them. Safety of the students
and the faculties is a major concern and hence the campus security is more
important now than ever before. It is very crucial for every campus to have a
good campus security to maintain a safe environment. Parents always choose a college based on this
factor because they want to feel safe and comfortable when they leave their
children in the School / College / University. To prevent nuisances, violence
or any kind of crimes to occur on the campus a good security system should be
in place. It is true that not all schools / colleges / universities are
perfect. There may have been cases of violence that might have occurred, minor
or serious hence the college needs to be prepared for such circumstances and
prevent violence of all kinds.
Many colleges are also known for the
nightlife events or concerts and at times things can go out of hand, hence the
security systems play a vital role while they patrol and deal with many such
kinds of issues which could even involve drugs, alcohol or violence. This helps
in preventing any dangerous activities on campus. A college is always concerned
about its reputation and the right system should be put in place to reduce any
kind of issues in the future.
Efforts should be made by Schools /
Colleges/ Universities to enforce the safety and security which will make a
significant difference in the atmosphere. Students, faculties and the staff
should come together and recognize that each one of them play an important role
and can strengthen the community together. This will eventually lead to major
behavioral shifts and allocation of time and needed resources in the right
areas.
