PRANJALEE DESAI –
Student and NGO Scan Goa
I feel no one is serious about the betterment of Goa. Everyone
in the political class are power hungry. Everyone is looking out for
themselves. They have no qualms in changing their team to suit their
requirements. I ma disgusted by this behaviour. I am looking for something
different and I don’t see any candidate on the horizon that would make me want
to vote for them.

I feel we should not vote. I will vote NOTA. We need to take action.
These people are obsessed with power and want to retain it or hang around it at
any cost. They are not interested in developing the state. They seemed to have
forgotten the fact that they were elected to work for us. They now seem to be
working only for themselves.

I feel the political class in Goa has taken the people for a
ride. Everyone is running after power. We need people who will think about Goa
instead of thinking about themselves. These politicians are all running after
money. We elect them and then they forget about us. Are there any politicians
doing a good job? It is difficult to name one. I think the Minister of Art and
Culture is doing a good job.
YULETTE COUTINHO –

I feel disappointed with this drama of politicians. It’s a
balance of convenience putting a toll on tax payers’ money. Such monkey
business has to stop and these politicians should not be re-elected. Putting an
end to this farce. I would not vote or vote for NOTA if given a situation of
this kind.

They are making a fool of people. They don’t seem to care for
the general public. They care about their own interest. It has become a joke.

According to me Politicians who are
active & Young with no Education background should not be given a Chance to
Face Election Process & people should not vote them it is the Insult of the
State or Country to support such Candidates in a manner that will help them in
future prospect. It is sole responsibility & duty of our Young generations
to abide by the rules & Regulations of the country.
AHSAN MULLA
Power! its all about
power; today we strongly believe that politics has become more about power and
less abouta change, youth activism and student activism has reduced due to the
current political scenario and people have stopped trusting the system.

I will say I will go not on the basis of
who the person is but on what the party stands for. Politicians like people
like to be around winners and this si what we are seeing.
