Follow the rules for a smooth ride

The traffic police have made arrangements  for the smooth movement of traffic in  Calangute, Baga and Candolim. Vehicles  proceeding to Calangute will be diverted  at St Alex Church via St Anthony Chapel–St  Joseph–Baga Circle. The road from Baga circle  (Calangute) towards Baga Beach will be one  way and no vehicle will be allowed from Baga  beach side towards Baga Circle. It will be no  entry for vehicle proceeding from Agarwada  junction road towards Govt primary school  junction. It will be a no entry for proceeding  from Our Lady of Piety Chapel junction  towards Prabhawada junction. Vehicles coming  from Baga will be parked on the GTDC ground  Baga and in the field before new Baga Bridge.  The road from St Anthony Chapel  towards Mira Hotel upto Baga Circle will be  made ‘one way’. No vehicles will be allowed  to proceed from Baga Circle towards  St Anthony Chapel, Calangute.  The road from Jack Sequeira junction  towards St Alex Church via post office will be  ‘one way’. The road from Neelam Glitz resort  to Dharwadkar Hospital junction will be ‘one  way’. From Tito’s lane to Snow Park lane will  be ‘one way.’  Big tourist buses going from Panjim/  Porvorim to Calangute will be diverted from  Dolphin Circle opposite St Alex Church,  Calangute, towards Bodkevad parking lot about  300 metres from Dolphin circle and the open  space adjacent to Calangute Police Station. Big  tourist buses leaving from Anjuna/Arpora will  be parked at GTDC parking at Baga. Vehicle  leaving from Verem/Nerul to Candolim will  be parked at GTDC parking at New Candolim  beach and helipad at Aguada, Candolim.
