An Inter higher secondary talent show “Creative Canvas 2018” was held
recently in the school hall of Fr Agnel Higher Secondary School, Pilar.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp ceremony by
the chief guest Sr. Libia Fernandes, ex-student and headmistress of St.
Michael’s High School, Anjuna, Vagator. Fr. Peter Melo Fernandes, Rector of All
India Mission Seminary, was the Guest of honour, along with Fr. Fredrick
Rodrigues, the Vice Principal of Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Fr.
Roncy Braganza, Principal of Fr. Agnel Central School, Pilar, Fr. Richard
Crasto, Manager of Fr. Agnel HSS, and Headmaster of Fr. Agnel High School,
Pilar, were also present.
Seven teams from various higher secondary schools of Goa
participated in the one day talent show comprising of various onstage and
offstage competitions such asRattle and Roll, Konkani Monologue, Funniest
Getup, Go Green Innovation, Greenscape Capture, Nutritional Salad and Comic
Strip.
The “Creative Canvas 2018” championship trophy was bagged by Fr.
Agnel HSS – Pilar.
The
highlight of the event was the release of the quarterly school bulletin
“Agnelite” and the unveiling and launching of a unique bike designed by the
students of Automobile Engineering Course of Fr. Agnel Higher Secondary School,
Pilar.
