Consciousness (ISKCON) will be organising ‘Jagruti’, a two-day festival for the
12th year on February 2 and 3, 2019 from 7pm onwards at Dinannath Mangeshkar AC
Auditorium, Kala Academy, Panjim.
The event enfolds itself in an overwhelming
theme, ’Spiritual Awakening’ and features His Holiness Radhanath Swami Maharaj
and Sriman Radha Gopinath Das as the speakers for the festival. The sessions
will start and end with ‘kirtans’ followed by sumptuous ‘prasadam’.
The organising committee of ISKCON hopes
for a good response as the festival will be filled with the blessing of two
esteemed speakers. His Holiness Radhanth Swami is a world renowned leader and
author of the bestselling books across the globe, namely ‘The Journey Home’ and
‘The Journey Within’. The book ‘The Journey Home’ is translated in 20 languages
and published in 40 countries. He is also the Founder of the award winning

on the first day of the festival and will enlighten them on the topic‘Life was
better when apples and berries were just fruits’.
Similarly, on the second day of the event,
internationally acclaimed motivational speaker and a spiritual leader Sriman
Radha Das will take the participants on a journey ‘Churning the nectar of
life’. Sriman Radha Das has been
teaching Bhagavad-Gita for over 20 years through a globally popular easy
foundation course- ‘Journey of Self Discovery’.
Addressing the gathering, Gopal Prabu, a
member of the ISKCON group briefs, “The main aim that surrounds the festival is
to bring about Spiritual awakening among people. Physically we are all in a
state of dream, this Jagruti festival will help us awaken through our Vedic
traditions.”
ISKCON has more than 600 temples and
foundations with eight centres in Goa where classes and activities are usually
conducted for children, adults and elders. ISKCON Goa’s Bhakiveda Academy for
Cultural Education building is currently under construction at Chorao Island,
