‘Star of the
Millenium’, Amitabh Bachchan along with Goa’s Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar released
the Goa Doot & Viva Goa Magazine Special feature ‘Goa Celebrates Cinema’ to
commemorate the successful hosting of the 48th International Film Festival in
India (IFFI), Goa 2017 at the VVIP enclosure at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee
Stadium, before the commencement of the closing function of IFFI on Tuesday.
The 12-page
supplement, designed and executed by Advertising Associates, contains a special
article written by Parrikar, who traces the journey of how and why IFFI was
shifted to Goa from New Delhi for the first time in the year 2004, the
challenge he faced to create the infrastructure in record time, and how Goa as
a brand has benefited at the national and international level for hosting IFFI.
The
feature contains an exclusive interview with Bachchan, where he states that
“Goa occupies a special place in my heart” besides a special personal
comment on Parrikar by Bachchan, ably reciprocated by Parrikar. The feature
ends with rapid fire questions with Big B.
