strength to his family to bear the loss. It’s a huge loss to the konkani stage.
He’ll always remain immortal in our hearts and will be remembered forever
throughout the world among Goans and the konkani speaking community for his
huge contribution to the konkani stage, konkani language and Goa. He has
immensely contributed to the upliftment of the konkani stage. Goa has lost a
great son.

A pillar of Konkani tiatr called by the lord your work
done on the konkani stage will remain forever.
– Fr. Bolmax Pereira
Mario was one of the stalwarts of Konkani tiatr
fraternity in Goa , known for his meaningful songs and storylines. Heartfelt
sympathies to the family of Mario Menezes. May God grant him eternal rest.
– Konrad Ridrigues, tiatr lover
One of the brightest lights of the konkani tiatr stage
has gone off. Mario earned a place for himself in the hearts of people as
“Tragedy King” with his superb natural acting over the years. He not only shone
bright himself but showed the right path to many budding artists. I had the
privilege to act with him in one of his drama’s. He was truly a warm person.
Respect his immense contributions towards tiatr and the society as a whole. He
not only entertained but also enlightened the audience through his thoughtful
tiatrs on varied subjects. It will be very difficult to fill the void created
on the tiatr stage by his demise. May Mario’s Soul Rest in Peace.
– Rupesh Jogle, Tiatrist
I am flabbergasted. Everyone has to leave this world,
one day, but this is unbelievable and unbearable. Such a handsome actor, laden
with talent, as one of the greatest actor, writer, director, singer and
lyricists. He was always bubbly and had a great personality, always smiling and
enjoying life with all friends. It was just shocking. It proves we are mere
mortals, life is a dream, unsure when we will get up and leave for our heavenly
abode. May almighty god give his soul eternal peace and courage to his bereaved
family to overcome this unbearable loss.
ADEUS AMIGO. Till we all meet in heaven again.
– Hortencio Pereira, Tiatrist
