I am just shocked and traumatized on learning this
shocking news of my friend Mario Menezes leaving this world. I really could not
believe this shocking news in the middle of the night. Last heard at 11pm that
they had almost reached Mumbai to perform the tiatr of TAG. May his soul rest
in peace, goodbye friend… Will miss u dearly May his soul rest in peace.

Can’t believe that Mario Menezes is no more, I am
deeply shocked and devastated on hearing this sad news. My prayers and
condolences to his family during this tough time. May Almighty God give
strength to his family to bear the loss. It’s a huge loss to the konkani stage.
He’ll always remain immortal in our hearts and will be remembered forever
throughout the world among Goans and the konkani speaking community for his
huge contribution to the konkani stage, konkani language and Goa. He has
immensely contributed to the upliftment of the konkani stage. Goa has lost a
great son.
