In this day and age, it’s still difficult
to imagine the above but there’s
always hope. But in the wired and connected lives we lead, there’s something else
which is almost impossible to imagine- living without your mobile phone and
internet connection. For most, this would be an absolute nightmare
Jammu and Kashmir was not just forced to imagine but actually
live through this nightmare. As the restrictions on post paid mobile
connections have got lifted, it’s prudent to imagine and look at life without
this connectivity. Over to the people of Goa to tell you more
If I was in Goa and did not have internet connectivity for sixty
days, I would use my time to connect with friends and family on personal level
by meeting up with them and spending time with them. I would spend more time
outdoors as I feel it would help me focus on myself.

How would I Survive without Internet and Mobile service for a
Couple of months. I would say that would be very difficult and in fact might
drive me crazy. But philosophically it might do me a great good and help me
detox. Peace !!!

In the age we live in both the mobile phone and the internet has
become rather essential. These are not only for communication but also
business. The internet provides a wealth of knowledge and aids daily life. As
much as we may try to deny it, I think it would be very difficult to adjust to
having neither for two months.

I wouldn’t survive I would be up ** creek without a paddle! Or
alternatively I would have to take up a hobby like knitting or painting as
would be out of work by now! Or alternatively read a lot or let the worst of my
OCD come and out and clean incessantly! Well actually I think I would enjoy
myself not know what was happening in the world or like the good old-fashioned
days actually make plans that you could not change as you were committed!

60 days would be perfect for a 2-month vacation exploring the
vineyards in France, Italy, Germany ideally…….not to mention trying out
different local beer breweries to as well as some nice distilleries of local
spirits, plus one can catch up soon your reading. And ideally would be great
if, just like it does for ministers, the government would fund this. I could
make it (which in my case would at least be true) a learning 2 months mission (
and without taking my coterie along) without the internet and phones
distracting me from enjoying all these just how they are meant to be enjoyed

Six days without internet or phone? That’s like impossible.
There would be so much pressure related to work as I would need access to my
phone and internet. But life would totally change. I will be forced to get out
of my house to go and meet my friends. Maybe I could plan a short holiday trip
if I did not get any work that week. Will definitely want to visit the beach
and relax by the waves. I will also get time to produce some music at my home
studio because I waste my time on social media. Our phones and internet is an
addiction in this tech savvy world. If for a week at least, I am definitely
gonna see about real life around me
