Anjuman
Himayatul Islam High School, Islampura in
Vasco organized an exhibition and Knowledge Fest in the school premises.
More than 60 students from 13 schools of Mormugao taluka
participated in various competitions like elocution, debate, monologue and
quiz.
The champions of Anjuman Knowledge Fest 2018 were Murgao High
School from Headland Sada. Other students also won trophies in various
competitions.
An exhibition by school students using models and charts on
various topics in science, math, art/craft and languages was also held, which
was attended by students from different schools from the taluka.
Dr RB Patil,
Principal of MES College of Arts and Commerce in Zuarinagar appreciated the
school’s efforts in organizing the Knowledge Fest and also the large number of
participation from school students. Also present were Vatsala Viswambaram, ADEI
(Adm) Mormugao taluka and Retd Cdr TR Ananthanarayan, Editor of Vasco Watch.
The
President of Hamdard Education Society, Azim Mohiddin, Chairman of the school,
Iqbal Mohiddin, Manager, Sayed Nazir, Headmaster of the school, MP Dhabolkar,
PTA members and staff were also present.
