Looking back on a fun week

A trip down memory lane brings to mind a lot of happy memories. Café speaks with students of Don Bosco College, Panjim about the memories they made during their recently culminated 'Fun Week'

The year 2015 has ended, leaving behind several memories not
just of the New Year’s Eve and Christmas. Students and teachers from several
colleges reminisce ‘fun week’ steeped in the excitement of competitions and
festivities. Don Bosco College, Panjim had its ‘fun week’ tied in with their
Christmas celebrations.

“‘Fun week’ consisted of five days. We dressed up according
to the days throughout the week. Throughout the fun week we would have teachers
going around and picking out the best dressed person of the day, the winners of
each day were announced during the prize distribution, on the last day” said
Rohan Sheikh, a resident of Margao and the cultural secretary of Don
Bosco. “I wasn’t able to participate everyday due to the pressure of organising
everything,” he continued, “but it was fun to make it all happen, it’s not
something you get to do often; besides it’s only possible during college days.”
