The Archbishop-Patriarch of Goa and Daman recently released Konkani audio CD
‘Goribank Bori Khobor’ in the presence of Vicar General Fr Remedios Fernandes,
Secretary to the Bishop Fr Joaquim Loyola Pereira produced by Fr Joaquim
Fernandes based on this year’s pastoral theme ‘God has anointed me to bring the
good news to the Poor’.
It contains twelve songs based on the
relevant theme of this year. In a special way, this CD is dedicated to Fr
Adrian Furtado for his marvellous contribution towards the Church of Our Lady
of Livra Febres Consua-Verna during the last seven years (2012-19).
Music
for the CD has been directed by noted musician Lenoy Gomendes, while lyrics
have been penned by Fr Joaquim Fernandes. Noted singers like Nephie Rodrigues,
Cielda Pereira, Benny de Aldona have lent their voices for singing. The CD will
be available for sale at all stores in Goa from the third week of February.
