No longer invincible?

As another year of no silverware adds itself to Arsenal’s trophy chest, Café speaks to a few fans, asking them whether this season has been a writeoff, given that it was quite literally yet another year of, ‘if only’

It has been a full 12 years that Arsenal were ‘The
Invincibles’. They were untouchable. They went an
entire season undefeated. They were possibly the
greatest Arsenal squad to have graced the pitch at
Highbury, and then The Emirates Stadium. However,
much has changed since then, and most Arsenal
fans have had precious little to talk about. This
season seemed to have held much promise for them.
However, with a great run of form by Leicester City FC
and Tottenham Hotspur (the much abhorred rival for
Gunners fans), they seem to have fallen short. With
only 8 games left in their respective seasons, is this
yet another year of underachievement? Have Arsenal
once more been merely the bridesmaid and not the
bride
