Nothing is more venerable than fidelity

The curtains unfold to a scene at the police station. Cio (Cyril de Verna) is put behind bars for attempt to rape and murder and Lisa (Melinda) is instrumental for his imprisonment.

Cio is confident that his lawyer, Purument D’Souza (Lino) will release him on bail shortly and revenge will follow thereafter.

Meanwhile, Donald (Dominic Carvalho), a retired seafarer and his wife Dola (Rita) are awaiting the arrival of their only son Jaison (Manu), who is also a seafarer. Jaison returns home and his long-time friend Lisa steps in to greet him.

Talks about marriage continue and Jaison’s parents agree to Lisa’s willingness to unite with her fiancée. But after release on bail, Cio steps in to take revenge.

And to fulfill Cio’s wicked plans, for greed of money, Adv D’Souza tries to assist in every possible wicked way. The lawyer advises Cio to wait and allow the love birds to unite in marriage.

After Jaison and Lisa tie the knot, Cio cooks up stories with the help of his lawyer to prove the latter’s infidelity. But Jaison stands firm and is confident that his spouse is faithful to him and will stand by him like a rock.

Will Jaison’s trust in Lisa continue till the end? Will Lisa’s mother-in-law support her daughter-in-law? Or will she follow the rumours spread like wildfire and torture her? In moments of trials and tribulations, who stands by Lisa? Will the truth come to light? Ultimately who is the winner and who is the loser? What follows next is worth the watch during the second half of the drama.
