coincides with our release of film. So watch our film and increase your number
of friends),” quipped the film’s actor SachitPatil who was in Goa with the

The team also took the time to launch Herald Group’s comprehensive travel guide
‘Herald Traveller, A Guide to Goa’.
Commenting on the plot of the film, Sachit said, “It’s after
a long time that we will be seeing a film about two friends. Our film’s
trailers have received an overwhelming response and people are already calling
us Jai and Veeru (the famous duo and epitome of friendship from the classic
‘Sholay’). We have played different characters in the film, as we always take
challenging roles. Our audience will see us in completely
new characters. It has a dose of South-masala but it is not an action film.”
ActorSwapnilJoshi enthusiastically added, “We had a lot of
fun while shooting the film. Just like our team, I am certain that the audience
will also enjoy the film.”
A song of the film, ‘DilDostiYaariVaari’, which highlights
the film’s theme, is also creating waves. The song is a friendship anthem of
sorts and has been sung by Amitraj and HarshavardhanWavare. The song features
Swapnil and Sachit along with a group of friends and revolves around wonderful
memories and the strong bond between the two. The peppy number brings to life
memories of college days.
Actress GauriNalawade who is making her debut with ‘Friends’
said, “This is my first big film with leading actors of the Marathi film
industry. I consider myself extremely lucky to act with these actors. In the
film, mine is a simple, girl-next-door character. It was a fun experience.”
This wasn’t Swapnil’s first visit to Goa. “Goa has always
been a favourite destination for tourists across the globe. We often come here
for our shoots.”
The film’s producer, Sanjay Kelapurehad the final word: “We
wanted to reach out to our audience and we know that Goa too has got Marathi
film audience and it’s our pleasure to be here for the promotion of our film.”
