Parineeti Chopra zipping through Goa

‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ actress Parineeti Chopra was recently in Goa for the opening of a bike showroom in Taleigao. Known for her girl next door charm, Parineeti talks bikes, films, singing and more

Dressed
in a crop top that read ‘Basic
Just
Won’t Do’, paired with a black and white striped skirt and bright
green heels, Parineeti Chopra grabbed the attention of her fans as
soon as she walked into the room. The Bollywood actress, who will
next be seen in the film ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ which also marks her
singing debut, is looking forward to show off her singing talent. “I
enjoy singing and I will be doing a lot of it in my next film,
shooting of which will commence next month. I have done a bit of
singing for the promos as well, which are already out,” says
Parineeti. The said video has Parineeti singing a slow melodious
track, ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’.

Speaking
about recently hosting TOIFA alongside Riteish Deshmukh in Dubai,
Parineeti says, “I have hosted many award shows before and this one
too was amazing. It is less stressful than a performance and I had a
segment with Shah Rukh Khan and Riteish with other notable people
from the industry. Hosting award shows is very impromptu.”

Down
in Goa for the opening of a bike showroom, Parineeti fondly
recollects her memories with her scooter. “I was born and brought
up in Ambala, Haryana and we used to travel by bus and public
transport so a scooter was a luxury. I used to ride the scooter for
my tuitions and even take it to school; but since we were not allowed
to ride at that age, I would park it far away. I have had fun zipping
around with my friends on my bike.”

Parineeti
enjoys riding bikes and Goa is one of her favourite places for that:
“I love riding in Goa and I have asked Kenji Hirozawa, Vice
President of Sales and Marketing of Suzuki, India, to give us a few
bikes to ride around Goa. Goa is a great place to ride bikes as there
are beaches to go to and it’s fun with the wind in your hair. Goa
also offers smooth roads. The best part is, no one will notice me as
I will be following the rules by wearing a helmet.” Parnineeti adds
that though she has gone on many road trips by car, if she ever goes
on a bike trip, it will probably be to Ladakh.

“I
ride geared bikes too and the scene where I am learning to ride a
bike from Arjun Kapoor in ‘Ishaqzaade’ is just acting. But for
the Goa trip, I will be more girly and ride a non geared scooter.
Though I wouldn’t mind accepting a Gixxer for my two brothers,”
quips Parineeti with a naughty smile.
