magazine Viva Goa released its latest issue dedicated to the 50th year of International Film
Festival of India (IFFI) and Goa’s 15th edition as its permanent venue,
featuring an exclusive interview with Union Minister for Information and
Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar, where he recalls late Manohar Parrikar’s
visionary guidance in bringing IFFI to Goa, Parrikar’s personal involvement in
the festival planning and the energy he brought to the international film fest.
Acknowledging the
issue, Javadekar also congratulated the team of ‘Viva Goa’ for bringing out a
perfect tribute to 50 glorious years of the International Film Festival of
India with a special issue.
The latest issue of
the magazine also features an article penned down by former chief minister late
Manohar Parrikar himself, tracing the journey of IFFI to Goa. The cover story
also includes an exclusive interview with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan on
Goa and IFFI.
The
magazine is available at all newsstands and supermarkets.
