The main curtain unfolds to a scene wherein Joaquim (Roseferns) prays at the foot of the Cross as he is about to stage his new production. He encounters Manuel (Prince Jacob) and they start a conversation.
Joaquim is a farmer, who also indulges in penning and staging tiatrs. He resides with his wife (Meena) and elder son Nesley (Ulhas Tari), who is married to Naila (Antonette de Maina). Over a tussle, Joaquim’s younger son, Jerson (Jerson) leaves the house and goes away.

Joaquim’s brother Gabriel (Jaju) is a crook and indulges in all sorts of malpractices. Along with his son Zendo (Francisco) he eyes his brother’s property and plans are underway to grab it and work on a big project.
Nesley wouldn’t like to interfere in his father’s property matters, but his wife Naila decides to join hands with Gabriel and Zendo to do the needful. She works upon all sorts of tricks, but nothing works in her favour.
Like the prodigal son, Jerson returns to his father along with his son Tony (Mac). Meanwhile, Joaquim’s wife meets with an accident and expires.
Will Gabriel along with his son Zendo succeed in grabbing Joaquim’s property? Will their wicked plans see the light of day? Whose son is Tony? What follows next is worth a watch on stage during the second half of the drama.
Roseferns’ 100th production ‘Amche Modem Jiyeta’ is a family melodrama, carrying several twists and turns in the second half. It has a powerful message to convey at the end of the show.
Roseferns and his brother Jaju in opposite characters on stage have given a fine performance. Meena Goes has assisted in a double roles and has executed her roles confidently. As siblings on stage, Ulhas Tari and Jerson have extended good support. They are ably supported by Antonette de Maina and Meena. Child artiste Mac delivers his dialogues with gusto. Michael makes a cameo as a priest.
In the comic acts, comedians Brian, Nato, Joyel and Dorothy form a comical quartet and entertain with their laughter pills. Prince Jacob joins in to add flavor.
In musical performances, there’s Ageema, who makes a grand entry with the opening song, which is entwined with dialogues of Roseferns’ earlier hit tiatrs. There are solos from Rosario de Benaulim, Michael, Lawry Travasso, Saby de Divar, who receives an encore, and Anthony Caiado. Other songs follow from Tony and Antonette de Maina, Jerson and Francisco, Ulhas, Lawry and Tony, Meena and Dorthy and Michael and Rosario de Benaulim. There’s one song as a tribute to late Selvy rendered by all comedians, namely Nato, Dorothy, Joyel and Brian.
Elroy and his team has provided good music to all the songs, but the piece played before the start of the show, helps recollect some of Roseferns’ hit productions in the past. The sceneries on stage, especially the confessional and the cross, have been well executed by Tony de Ribandar and Tremson
