Rider Mania, Royal Enfield’s signature event, also said to be the world’s largest
gathering of Royal Enfield enthusiasts, is back in its 2017 avatar, but with a
slight change. To be held in Vagator – its dedicated venue, the dates this year
have been slightly tweaked and the event will now happen between November 17
and 19, 2017, as opposed to its usual dates between November 20-22. This spells
good news for all the petrolheads who are also film buffs, as because of the
change in dates, Rider Mania will not be clashing with the International Film
Festival of India (IFFI), which begins on November 20, 2017.
Brand Royal Enfield enjoys a cult following among bikers in
India and abroad, and since making its first motorcycle in 1901, Royal Enfield
has been the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production. The ardent
following is also partly because the brand organises and supports many
motorcycling events and rides globally, more prominently, the Rider Mania that
happens in Goa annually, attracting riders from all over the world to Goa,
among a few others events. Therefore, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that more
than 5,100 riders had registered for the festival with over a month to go.
The
festival, like every year, is back with a lot of action spread across its
duration of three days. There will be a plethora of motorcycling events, talks,
competitions and surprises in store for the ‘Bullet enthusiasts’ making their
way to Goa from all over the world. Be it the custom motorcycling exhibition,
motorcycling art showcases, the signature dirt track race and Trials, or the
appealing moto gear and apparel combined with authentic Goan cuisine, all add
to a tempting experience for participants at Rider Mania. Rider Mania is the
ideal platform where the signature ‘Thump’ unites.
