The Diocesan Society of Education’s Holy Cross Institute organised an exhibition on the beauty and splendour of ‘AmchemGoem’ on December 6,7 and 8 2018 on the theme ‘Explore the pearl of the East’ in Cavelossim.
The 12 talukas of Goa were beautifully displayed in the classrooms. The historical places, monuments, famous personalities, freedom fighters, festivals, feasts, traditional occupations, places of tourist interest were displayed in the form of models and charts.
Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao inaugurated the exhibition and gave away the scholarship and academic prizes. Rev.Fr. Jose UbaldoD’cunha, Manager of the school delivered the welcome address and Mrs Edilqueen Furtado, Headmistress presented the Annual school report.
The exhibition attractive a lot of visitors and was appreciated by the neighbouring schools, villagers, ex-staff and well-wishers. A diligent and dedicated team of HCI toiled hard to share the splendour of ‘AmchemGoem’.
