While the team is on the pitch, fighting it out for footballing supremacy, the fans are behind them all the way, screaming their guts out. However, in the course of this, surely replenishments are in order? Footballing food is always the need of the hour, and across various parts of the footballing powerhouse that is Europe, various kinds of food go hand in glove with the game.
One such fan, Anil Shirodkar, says, “The one match that I have attended was at Falmer Stadium, the home of Brighton and Hove Albion, as I have family in Brighton. There, they served pies, burgers, hot dogs, and pasties. Though I’ve been told that pies and Bovril are the traditional food at matches as they are warming in nature, which given the climatic conditions, is needed at most grounds.”
Another fan, Sean Faia speaks on his ideal meal at a match-day venue, saying “There are two things that I would look forward to at our stadium: burgers and hotdogs. Everyone knows of the love affair with food that my wife and I share, so this addition would make the match day an altogether amazing experience.”
Café gets the views of some FC Goa fans who have their match day preferences, that could hopefully make their way to the stands:
