My ultimate bucket list travel destinations
are Africa and Australia; the former for its untouched beauty and the latter
for the food. I would love to see the beauty and terrors of the world in all
its glory in Africa; something that we miss out on here in our everyday lives.

My ultimate bucket list travel destination
would be Australia. I’ve heard a lot about the country from close friends who
have visited the place. The awesome food, the crazy adventures; I would love to
dive into the Great Barrier Reef and swim with over 4,000 different species of
fish.

On my bucket list for travel would be the
Marshall Islands. I read the name somewhere, looked it up and have been
enchanted ever since. I suppose that that stems from my idea of an ideal
vacation, which involves lazing at the beach all day, with a good book and no
disturbance. No hawkers and gawkers = pure bliss.

I have a yearly bucket list which includes
a seven-day trek, white-water rafting in the Himalayas and jumping out of an
aircraft at 13,000 feet! However, the ultimate one that is still left to
be ticked off is the cage dive with wild sharks in Cape Town. I don’t think
sharks are scary (well let’s see about that when I actually encounter them).
They are beautiful and very intelligent creatures. That adrenaline rush to have
such a close encounter with these majestic beasts is definitely something to
tick off in my ultimate bucket list!

I think that my ultimate destination would
have to be Santorini in Greece. It is said to be heaven in the lap of the Gods.
It has everything from crystal clear deep blue water, to white-washed
buildings, dramatic sunsets and the beauty and romance of the Aegean.

I just cannot choose between Scotland and
Ireland. The first because I want to see the Loch Ness Monster in Loch Ness of
the Scottish Highlands, as well as visit the Dunottar Castle. I also want to
take a dip in the Finnich Glen and see puffins at Handa Island. The second,
because I want to drink strawberry beer, to see the Dark Hedges and see the
Hawthorn Fairy Tree. And of course to go on a Leprechaun hunt through the
County Galway and see the Cliffs of Moher and Kylemore Abby.

Turkey would win hands-down in the fight
for my ultimate travel destination. Istanbul would be my first stop; the city
is gold for anyone in love with history and culture. What is also particularly
interesting is their food, which like everything else in the country is a
cultural experience in itself. Antalya would be next on the list. The city,
though known for its cultural heritage, has also seen an interesting range of
mushrooming restaurants – one that is on my list to try is named Vanilla, and Parlak
Restaurant – an open-air restaurant run out of an old caravanserai.
