Achhe din

Savio D’Costa
The magnitude of the Finance ministry’s disappointing action in handling the money of the Citizens of India right under the nose of the BJP Government has really put the Country in a situation where the spotlight is now focused on how many more skeletons will fall out from the attic of the Banks.
Nirav Modi, who owes the country Rs 11,000 Cr, disappeared with the loot a day before his dirty linen was washed in public. What really bothers me is that the connections with the right people at the right time from the Government offices was the criteria of the well planned robbery. What was the Government doing all this time when all the Tax payers money was being swindled right under their nose.
Is it just a coincidence this is happening during the BJP’s term or is it well planned? Because not long ago Kingfisher Baron Vijay Mallya committed an equal offence and nothing is being done to recover the loot.
Now the Government came out with the FDRI bill in August which empowers the Banks with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code to revive all losses through the account holders from that particular Bank, was this all planned for a rain check in this situation? Why was the GST introduced, was it to cover up the internal scams that the Government tried to cover up?
Dear PM what is going on in our country? Why are you silent? When questioned by a student over global warming looks like you humiliated the whole nation with a answer the world would never expect from the leader of a country by saying “The climate is not changing, we are changing”, you are the PM of our country without a clue of what’s going on, your only focus is to travel overseas at the cost of the tax payers’ money. You have only managed to make empty promises, when can we expect the action? We are anxiously waiting to welcome the “ACHHE DIN” for the past 7 years. Your promises to recover all the black money with Demonetisation was a total failure since you still haven’t given the account of the money that has been recovered.
Our infrastructures are worse than a battle field, bridges are being built without safe access to motorists causing delays and accidents, promised a digital India where we still have to stand in queues for 30-40 minutes just to update documents in Government offices, Medical care is a challenge for the Common man where we have to spend hours just to be attended. Are you really waiting for tomorrow?
Because if you are it will never come, it’s high time you walked the talk starting with these business Giants who have left the Country with our money, recover our money and utilize it for the needy, Farmers who commit suicide due to the loans that they cannot pay.
We will not tolerate the failures of you Government any more we are proud to be Indians and we will prove it in the next elections.
