Coming to our senses

I call myself a man because I have the right and power to molest a girl. I am a man because I have courage to throw acid on a girl who refuses to marry me. I am a man because I have the audacity of ripping apart the modesty of a girl.

I call myself a man because I have the right and power to molest a girl. I am a man because I have courage to throw acid on a girl who refuses to marry me. I am a man because I have the audacity of ripping apart the modesty of a girl. I am a man because I was born in India the land which gives unconditional supremacy to its masculine gender, right from inception of life. Infact I was allowed to be born because I am a Man. Our India is not short of such “Men of substance”.
And the fight for survival of Indian women starts right in the womb and if she is lucky to be born , she becomes a ready meat for the men of substance in power , prominent politicians or their siblings or even senior police officers.
Crime against women in the state of Goa are increasing day by day and now a   days women are not safe even in their own homes, schools, colleges, work place  etc.
I think the laws of the land are responsible for this, our Indian laws are not so strong to control this scary criminal scenario.
We all like minded citizens should be concerned about the increasing number of crimes taking place, particularly against women and girl child.
On one side we defile women, yet we treat them as doormats, even after 70 years of independence.  We need to find out the solution to this perplexing problem, sooner than later, social evils tend to create fear and insecurity amongst the people and particularly our women fold and tarnish the fair image of state and country on the whole.
We all have the power to stop the violence against women and girls in our own small ways and we can be leaders in our own homes,  state and around the nation.
In my opinion, sufficient sex education should be given to the children, adults as an academic and through counseling when ever possible, this may includes sexual organs, their functionalities, what is pleasure, reason of pleasure, risk and precautions etc, sensitizing the law enforcement machinery towards crime against women and girls by way of well structured training programmes, meeting and seminars etc.
Strict laws should be made over sexual harassment in private and government organization and even a small complaint should be taken seriously, victim should be helped and  accused should be punished as soon as possible.
I presume it is easy to molest / rape /harass a women in Goa / India than to get a mobile phone connection!
Thanks for your valuable time. if you feel and agree with my ideas, please give your valuable support by following, sharing and spreading this information, it is not impossible, we can control crimes against women and girls, but we have to do some changes at our body and mind level, society level and need to think logically and scientifically.
