Don’t wait to be sorry and say Are Tanchem Pad Podom

Uncontrolled vast migrant influx, amount of non-manageable waste generated by them including some developer’s ignorance to well organised planning leaves the state burdened with filth and garbage. Our Government is incapable to manage the mess due to collection of limited revenues from them. Filth and garbage created by people living in illegally built huts on most of the plateaus and hill slopes invites sickness. This affects the locals dwelling at ground level and the situation is sadly being overlooked. Imagine the situation of Goa if Government tries to pass an ordinance to legalise illegal dwellings.
The insecurity and flight of Goans is created by our own political leaders by not creating favorable employment opportunities for our youth. Favoritism to non-state Corporates who are much in favour to employ low scale employees is gaining momentum and Government inclining towards them is a matter of concern to some of the sprouting local businesses. Capable Goan individuals, Corporates and ex-powerful politicians think of your fellow citizens extend your helping hand and encourage eager business enthusiasts to build their status and contribute towards building healthier economy of the state. Will outsiders have any concern towards our people and state? No they have their own goals for sole interest.
Most of the former and ruling MLAs and their cronies are well settled with good businesses and crores into their vaults. Some are getting elected term after term to devour the state’s resources and make the high yielding land and hills deprived of its natural things. Their intention is to loot and loot, without any plans for sustainable development and plans for youth development. Time to respect one another has come to an end and the breeding ratio of political vandals is surmounting at uncontrollable pace.
Now we have BBSM leaders who have fulfilled their ambitions and in their retirement stage are out to cap and destroy the younger generation’s aspirations so that they don’t become threat to their children. Please do not be selfish, we as experienced seniors should be guiding and supporting them for their challenges ahead.
Environmental adverse effect can be felt and summers are getting hotter with temperatures mounting making life highly unpleasant. Frequent power supply cut is a constant experience making the lives of our elders very un-confortable and risky to some who suffer hypertension and cannot afford luxuries.
Goan BJP MLAs and supporters please do not get blinded and carried away by promises of outsiders, for few notes and lose our treasure land. Vote them to power again and then don’t wait to be sorry and say “Tanchem Pad Podom.”
Humble and non-violent Goans, 2017 is an ultimatum for us to make a rightful rigid decision to form, support and embrace our own state party and to abandon non state parties.
Do we need this to happen to us and make our children destitute? Parrikar and Modi, with their polished political talks and promises, have failed to deliver and must not be trusted henceforth.
Our common agenda must be an anti-corruption, better governance and self-sufficient state. Yes Goa has the natural resources and Goans can do it.
