The growing intolerance in India by suspected ‘saffron ideologists’ is no different from much that is happening in other parts of the globe, whichever religion, community, or ideological leaning they may purport to belong to.
You see, unbridled emotions relating to, say, the saffronization/talibanization of Indians, or the beef scenario, or Indo-Pak cricket, can be extremely dangerous for the nation and its minorities, particularly, though other middle-of- the-road Hindu Indians can easily get sucked up into this evil whirlpool and get ‘gravely’ affected.
Suppose we examine the beef scenario. Emotional outbursts, linked with terror statements (as proudly given by the RSS mouthpiece that the Vedas encourage the killing of anyone who slaughters a cow), or terror actions like the Dadri killing, the J&K lynching, or the inking/staining of a pro-beef MLA, only serve to terrify the populace and not just the minorities. This evidence can be seen in the migrant refugee crisis as terrified people try to escape from their own compatriot oppressors. This is a likely fallout even in India where our talented workforce will exit India (as well as investors and businesses), leaving behind a technically unsound, impoverished workforce.
But, the real danger is that if we keep slaughtering only bulls, how will cows reproduce naturally after some time? And there is the real possibility that infection could wipe out the bovines as they become weaker without the protection of the bulls; or, that the cow population could explode to unmanageable limits necessitating culling, anyway; or that because of the explosion of cows, dangerous predators would vastly increase, affecting not only the safety of the cow herds but also the human population!
Do these people realize that doctors estimate that around 90% of serious health ailments are directly linked to bad emotions? Well then, we are going to have a HUGE number of sick Indians in the coming days, both Hindus and others. We need to become more logical about what we say and do, not only because we live in modern times but because it’s the correct approach.
While the world watches the migrant exodus from Muslim and Arab-dominated countries, perhaps they see only one aspect of this cruel drama being played out on the world’s stage – the horrific, brutal and economic suppression of their own compatriots; but we fail to see God’s plan being accelerated to save HIS created beings!
I recently saw a religious program where the flip side of this massive exodus was explained in Biblical terms. You see, the Holy Bible categorically states that Lord Jesus will return one final time when the full number of ‘Gentiles’ (non-Jews) comes into acceptance of HIM, and that not everyone will be ‘saved’ from hell except those who accept HIM and are called by HIS Name! So, this sea of humanity of migrants flowing across borders of Christian countries will be conscious of the totally OPPOSITE treatment being meted out to them as compared to their own compatriot oppressors, and they will experience the love of Jesus through these new ‘saviours’! The people of these host countries, albeit faltering in their own spirituality at present, will get renewed vitality to perform their spiritual calling anew.
