Most Indians are influenced by western society. Bollywood too mostly rejects dark complexion girls. The worst is our advertising industry – to promote and sell their western beauty products, they select and advocate only white-skinned female models. Unfortunately, girls from tender age on have a dream to look beautiful. Those who are beauty conscious slip into inferiority complex when in the company of white-skinned girls. Our society is responsible for women developing inferiority complex, because, it does not consider black is beautiful. The mindset of the society is revealed through people like Giriraj Singh who made shameless comments on white-skinned Sonia Gandhi. Remember black is beautiful. Indeed your deeds and characters are more important than colour of your skin.
