It is despicable to hear the words from the mouth of one of the RSS man on Mother Theresa and her works of charity. According to him, all the charitable works of Mother Theresa were done with the purpose of conversion. If she was doing her charitable works for the purpose of conversion, why did she start her charitable works in Catholic or Christian countries? Who did she convert there? Her works were simply a selfless service to the needy, the wounded, the abandoned in our society. In her selfless service to humanity Mother Theresa went beyond class, caste and creed. All her houses were and are packed with inmates who were left to die in the streets. Regarding religion she said, one must help a Hindu to become a better Hindu, a Muslim to become a better Muslim, a Catholic to become a better Catholic. On another occasion she said to a dying man, you say a prayer according to your religion and I will say according to my religion. Therefore to say that Mother Theresa did her charitable works in view of conversion is a disgraceful statement, and that too, after rendering yeomen service to humanity not only in India but all over the world.
