Unlock 3 guidelines of Centre
The restrictions in States are creating problems in the inter-State movement of goods and services which are impacting supply chains resulting in disruption in employment and economic activity. In various States and districts there are local restrictions on movement which has been seen. The Unlock 3 guidelines clearly state that there shall be no restrictions on inter-State and intra-State movement of goods and persons. It also stated that no separate permission, approval or e-permit will be required for movement of person and goods for cross land border trade under treaties with neighbouring countries. Any such restriction amounts to violation of guidelines issued by Ministry of Home Affairs under provisions of DMA act, 2005. But there should be stricter actions to curb pandemic by way of facemask, social distancing, hygiene. Who knows when this will come to halt.

Change in law
With reference to the rape of a minor girl of 13 years, it is really shocking to know that the accused has been released on a bail. It appears that the government is promoting rape instead of curbing it.
The future of that girl is ruined and besides she has to live with that trauma for the rest of her life, while the accused is released on bail as though he has not done anything serious. Is this the law that protects the female gender of our country?
I request the government to take stringent measures against all these rapists and give justice to those little girls being raped, rather than bailing the accused with bonds which, if at all imposed, need to be increased by 10 times and be given to the victim and her family. This no doubt will not bring any change in the life of that little girl but surely it might help that girl to migrate elsewhere and help her to get out of this trauma for some time at least.

Covid is a wakeup call
I think the key intention of the pandemic was to induce some kind of soul searching and a reset of priorities by mankind. In the metronomic ‘slash and burn’ rat race of 2019 BC (Before Covid) we humans forgot a few rudimentary principles and God had to wade in to deliver the proverbial ‘tight slap’ (or the stinging right upper cut if you must). Those who don’t acknowledge this reality shall not progress but those who do, and consequently rejig their conduct to be less judgemental more empathetic, less intransigent more accepting and less critical more encouraging about others shall go far.
We should also endeavour to be rich in virtues rather than being merely wealthy. Wealth is a relative term, it is good only if majorly used for the benefit of the have-nots and the downtrodden. The edifice of life must be rebuilt on the foundation of ‘service to others’ and doing what you ‘love’, not merely doing what you ‘must’ by the dictates of society, peers or social conditioning.
Make life a celebration of the ‘now’, unmarred by the regrets of the past or the anxieties of the future. Do not squander away precious time waiting for the perfect life, you already have the perfect life, all you need is to be grateful for all that the Almighty has bestowed upon you.
Life is full of blessings, sometimes while seeing it through the prism of ‘wants’ we forget that we already have what we ‘need’ and fail to value it. So, introspect and be aware that a new world order is in the offing, hopefully a more benevolent one and it is incumbent upon each one of us to make this planet a much better place to live in.

Gandhis must reach out to dissenters
The Gandhis showed that they still hold sway over the Congress with a majority of the members endorsing Sonia Gandhi’s continuation as party chief until they pick a new leader and condemning the move by dissenters seeking sweeping changes in the party. The Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting saw a few fireworks. But the veterans who wrote to Sonia demanding collective leadership found themselves cornered, with a majority of the members condemning their move and some demanding action against them. Though this round has gone to the Gandhis and made them emerge more robust, they must reach out to the dissenters and prevent the party from going into disarray.

Who will rescue the aam aadmi?
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been no sign of its abatement as there is no ‘specific vaccine’ yet in the pipeline. COVID-19 virus has no frontiers. It has engulfed the whole world. It does not discriminate between the poor and the rich, the famous and the notorious, and aam aadmi. It is neutral as far as religion, caste, gender, ethnicity and colour. Though the government tries its level best, it’s the lower rung of officials who discriminate the treatment protocol. They provide excellent high-end treatment to their allies and cronies, whereas the common man is left to the mercy of God to fend for himself at an exorbitant fee.
The recent case in question is of Union AYUSH minister Shripad Naik who contracted the COVID-19 virus. He was shifted to Goa Manipal hospital for allopathic treatment, from where he was shifted to GMC for the latest plasma therapy. His condition improved considerably with the use of plasma therapy/remdesivir. This proves the inefficacy of this placebo treatment of arsenic album which may work only psychologically. Despite being seen by the best and competent doctors of GMC, who have been trained for plasma therapy, experts from AIIMS Delhi, were deputed to monitor the course of his condition, and only when satisfied they returned.
So, from this episode we can infer that to get such preferential treatment one has to be a MP, MLA or some high-profile politician or business tycoons. If it is so, who will rescue the crores of our common men Indian brothers, sisters and their families?

Stop paying obeisance to Nehru family
This is in reference to the happenings in the Congress. The party was never united and knowing the party members’ greed for power, Gandhiji suggested the Congress be dissolved but nobody paid attention to him. Since Independence, Congressmen considered themselves as Maharajas and to lead a luxurious life at the tax-payers cost, dethroned the Maharajas and in their places made themselves Nawabs.
The Congressmen must stop paying obeisance to the Nehru family and instead choose somebody capable from outside the family to lead the party. The myth that only the Nehru family is capable of leading Congress should be demolished, as none from the current Nehru family are capable of rejuvenating the Congress.
Congressmen are not ready to make sacrifices for getting better dividends for the masses and instead they always worked for their own selfish benefits, otherwise the standard of the masses would have been high especially when Congress governed India for a long period.
