It is very shocking and disgusting to read that a year passed since the Rs 100 cr project on garbage was announced but nothing has been done till date. How can anyone claim success by doing nothing about it. The mess is undefinable as every city suburb is stinking with garbage all around. 50 houses approx. have to share a single dust bin in their area, which gives rise to the overflowing of garbage on to the roads.
Swach bharat campaign is not only for advertising and photo opportunity but will have to be a campaign where every state has to put systems in place to manage garbage and act upon it seriously.
