The Marriott’s case is a classic example of connivance between the Govt. and hotel industry in destroying the environment for personal gains such that it took 22 years for Goa Foundation and Miramar residents to get justice. We can compare the Marriott case to the Leading Hotels Tiracol case where also Goa Foundation and the people of Tiracol are fighting to preserve the environment.
It is sad to see the greed of our ‘netas’ who are not ashamed to stoop as low as possible that they are even ready to sell their mother (land) to the highest bidder.
