The traffic in the city has been increasing by every passing day. To make matters worse, some people particularly the traders have made it a habit to park their vehicles at a convenient location the whole day, depriving others from utilising the space effectively. There are others from the vicinity who have been parking their vehicles for days together, in the absence of adequate parking available to them in their locality.
As usual the new move is likely to be countered with stiff opposition, particularly from the traders as in the past, but that should be rebutted at any cost.
It wouldn’t be out of place to mention here that the underground pay parking in the new municipal market has reached a saturation point and people are left with no option than to park their vehicles haphazardly or move out. Additional parking space needs to be acquired at this spot to meet the rising demand.
