The turn of events and controversies skirting the 13 year old hit and run case is akin to a Hindi flick potboiler.
Since the pronouncement of the sentence on 6th May ’15 all national channels went in an overdrive to cover the court proceedings in-seratim eclipsing all other major events. Even the renowned BBC broadcast a capsule running for almost half an hour on their network recalling Salman Khan’s achievements by highlighting his stardom status in the film industry.
The battery of prominent lawyers representing the actor were quick in procuring bail for the beleaguered actor and will ensure that he remains out of jail by buying time by filing petitions in higher courts.
