To have a censor board, is the tiatr a medium for showing nude scenes on stage as shown in Hindi films? To have a censor for tiatrist which curtails the freedom of expression to expose the wrong doings of any ruling government or official is something absurd and uncalled for. It is the tiatrist who brought awareness among the Goan masses on issues like family raj, corruption, scams etc. of the Congress misrule during the last general election. BJP remained silent and did not utter a word, but once they took over the reigns of power they decided to censor the tiatrists so that their sins of omission and commission are not exposed.
Tiatrists have been entertaining Goan folk with political songs right from the Portuguese rule to the MGP rule and the Congress rule. No one raised any objections towards tiatrists.
