Modi’s launch of Digital India was welcomed with smiles and happiness by the wealthiest industrialists. Later, many praises were showered on him and said he is one of the best leaders of our times. What is lacking in this world for Ambani’s, Tata’s, Mittal’s, Birla’s, Agarwal’s etc., ambition and hard work played a major role for their success. If India and its people want to share the benefits of this launch, why not our Govt., be part of this multi-crore profit making project instead of offering it to private parties. What percentage of employment to youth and length of services these giants can guarantee?
Why the filthy rich should harness the low income of the poor people? Introduction of mobile and internet fixed packages will be of more benefit to few and more burden to poor ignorant people who has to shed more amount for their less services utilized. The packages must be people-friendly and not demanding.
Is this one’s vision for stronger India and Make in India to loot the poor? This launch I.e Digital India is going to benefit only few rich industrialist and their contractors, getting an opportunity to infiltrate in each and every village of the country. Government contribution will help to create more guaranteed employment for the youth as well as increase in smaller businesses. Government can fund this project by floating public shares with the cooperation of selected banks as was previously done. Won’t our unemployed be happily working? Won’t our poor come up from misery level? Yes, definitely yes. When more are employed and new smaller industries are established it is a less burden on Government to finance new projects and pay out for their schemes (no need to borrow or take money from industrialist or developers). Employment for millions, new business opportunities for thousands, healthy living, happy families and thousands of poor will be elevated to a better living.
We should not entertain foreign investment for the sake of speedy development and get credit for self, poor ignorant people of India does not know about adverse future effect, they believe in their leaders.
If our PM vision is to make India one of the best countries in the world then he should put a smile on millions of unemployed youth, entrepreneurs and the poor by getting them employed, encouragement and ease in doing business and improving living conditions of the poor. And last but not the least the happiness of farmers by giving them support with new agricultural institution to study on how to get more produce and availability of water. Do not ignore them for they are the suppliers of food needs for millions, which is getting scarce and needs to be imported, unending assistance and benefits will help them to hold on to their lands and reduce their suicide rate to nil (granting of loans).
By giving reasons for no water and no yield do not grab their lands with promises of city employment to their children and utilize the land for development, once destroyed will never get back. Do not favor in giving the contracts to filthy rich industrialist who will work more for their benefit then to the people of our country.
