Peace is our heritage

So much of terrorism today… what is wrong with our world?
The words of Pope Francis “I won’t label Islam as terrorism”. Many might raise their eyebrows! It is always exciting to see the Pope in the news for good reasons and he takes us by surprise.
Pope Francis is a person of dialogue a man who recognises the struggle of the human race. It seems we are born with a natural inclination towards externals we are hardly in the habit of asking the deeper whys of all that is happening the good and the bad. Pope Francis’s words are profound. He lives and professes these very words he says “who are we to judge”. Blessed are those who speak not to please people  but to convey the truth. Religion is within, we tend to be superficial rather than profound, small talk is one thing and deep talk is another. The real intent of religion is to point to God, this thinking and doing should turn the tables around and bring about the unity the world needs.
Truly the life of this Pope is not empty and useless, for his insight continues to enrich us to enlighten us and all al human beings regardless of creed and religion and makes us think about our life and behaviours.
The key force which will hold the world together is the spirit of unity, and multi talented groups of peace loving people, be it Muslim, Christian, Hindu or Parsi.
The problem with terrorism is some group of people not religion, believes they are the chosen one by God to commit mass murder in the name of God. The other problem is, some communities have this ‘See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil’ attitude on terrorism. At the end of the day, as long as people believes their religion is the only true religion and all others are false, there will be no end to terrorism and all anti-terrorism effort will be futile.
The Pope after the terror attack in France said. I don’t understand, but these things are difficult to understand, how human beings can do this,” the pope said. “That is why I am shaken, pained and am praying.”
The director of the television station recalled how the pope has spoken many times about a “third world war being fought in pieces.”
“This is a piece,” the Pope responded. “There are no justifications for these things.”
On social media, Islamic State militants claimed responsibility, but Pope Francis insisted there can be no “religious or human” excuse for killing innocent people and sowing terror. “This is not human.” and surely it is not human..May  Pope  Francis and the many people who want peace continue to be messengers of peace where there is hatred let us bring peace and may we all become channels of peace If you and I are peaceful, the world will be peaceful. The problem is in the mind. The mind is the most wonderful gift that we have, but you made it a curse. If you and I are peaceful, the world will be peaceful. If you and I are loving, the world will be loving. If you and I are blissful, the world will be blissful.
Let us make it happen.
