Congratulations to the RTO officials for challaning all those two-wheelers without helmets. But I need to ask a few questions to the heads of the RTO.
Now that the govt is so keen on the safety of the people, why should the people riding a cycle not wear helmets? Can’t they die in a road accident. All road rules apply to them as well.
If the government is so concerned about the safety of the people, why only the expensive cars have air bags while the low cost cars doesn’t. This means that only the rich people have the right to live and the poor die. Who cares?
All the electric vehicles do not need a licence. May I ask the Government why. Everyone who comes on the road are exposed to fatalities specially in today’s congestion of cars on the roads. So also the rules of the road are applicable to all those coming on the roads.
RTO heads, what is the safety of the pedestrians. I feel they should also wear a head safety.
Please stop harassing the people in the name of safety. Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Besides, if anyone wearing helmets does meet a roadside grave, does our so-called Government give that person any compensation? A big NO? Stop challaning people not wearing helmets specially on the local roads. I am refering to the road leading to Margao from Cavellosim. It is written in the golden book of everyone’s life the time, causes place and type of death every soul will get. As a Goan, please stop challaning people not wearing helmets on the local roads. It is only a money making racket by the Government. Stop the word safety of the people. Our Government does not cater to people’s needs and this is seen all round in Goa.
Dear Government open your eyes or wear lenses and have a glance at the pot holes on our Goan roads. Cover them first and then talk about safety. Look at the uneven roads caused due to the sewage covers on many roads…then enforce safety rules. According to what was being taught to us in school, Government of the People, by the People and for the People does not exist anymore. Its only for the books.
