Why are our hills being cut, why are our rivers, lakes, and ponds being silted and land filled, why are our agricultural lands being filled for
construction purposes and destroyed? Is this a one-time deal to built in these areas to destroy all these lands for thirty pieces of silver like Judas did to betray Jesus.What happened to Judas? He hanged himself. Everyone who betrays Goans and Goa will have to do the same. Land in Goa is small and yet we allow everyone to come here and control it with the help of greedy, Goan traitors who look only to feel their pockets. They should have known that any land taken from Goans are not their land but Goan land. Can you please see the hill that was cut to build a huge complex in Betim as you go through the Mandovi bridge which is an eyesore. And if those buildings come down because of landslides why should the Goans pay compensations for these people?
The Government whichever comes to power will look for their benefits and will then run away to foreign countries with their stash. It is good that people of Goan origin are saying that enough is enough.
Please understand we will be like the East Indians In Bombay. These people are also displaced in their own land.
When we said we wanted special status, it was not for money but to protect our lands, but yet both national parties promised the same, nothing happened, they ask the state Govt to do the same and bring in a law for the same which is not happening. Parties are fooling us. Parsekar when he was chief minister said that with development our Goans will get jobs as security guards, sweepers, housekeeping staff to clean toilets for 5-star hotels, Mopa airport etc. Are Goans only fit for these jobs, Luizinho Faleiro when he was chief minister promised that Goans would be given jobs in the Verna Industrial estate, what jobs Goans got were as packers, sweepers or labourers, or courier carriers. These companies advertise outside Goa for vacancies as we now know for white and blue collar jobs to protect their backside and interest.
Why are you people selling Goa?
