Goa is a Land of our Dreams; undoubtedly, it is the dreamland of every true Goan, both at home, and abroad. As our dreamland, we have the roots of our family trees firmly embedded in the same. So, it is of prime duty for every true Goan to see that our land remains pristine and pure and well protected. As of now, we find our land being destroyed ruthlessly, through its blatant mismanagement by the successive Governments in power. Thus, sorrowing lies upon our land…. The land of Goa is hurting; and, it is hurting very badly!
The erstwhile Congress Governments have failed us miserably. And, the MGP and BJP Governments have not been able to fulfill the dreams of Goans, either. This is now conclusively known, to one and all. Their off-shoots and or allies GSM, Shiv Sena, etc. have nothing to offer but hatred. The other surging Parties with limited seats are an eye-wash. Even if any such Party wins all of its seats, still will not be able to form the Government on its own and without the support of other ailing Parties having divergent ideologies. As such, voting to power the candidates of these parties logically will not serve any good purpose.
Add to the people’s grave disenchantment with the existing political parties the menace of Independent candidates, all claiming to be heroes mightily capable to solve solo, the problems burdening Goa, if elected. But, what is not really considered well is the crude fact that no Independent candidate can form the Government on his or on her own. Independents are known to support any Party falling short of forming the Government. Thus, Independents can only be puppets in the hands of parties once in power. As such, it is of no use to vote neither for the Independents nor for those parties not contesting in all the constituencies!
Under the circumstances, the only Party, even Aam Admi Party (AAP), having posted candidates in all forty constituencies, has the possibility of forming a stable Government in Goa, if at all elected with a majority. As such, voting their candidates to power can provide us a stable Government. On the contrary, voting for other existing parties as well as voting for Independents is only going to end up in a hung Assembly and or in horse-trading. And that, to our disgrace!
So also, the time is now fully ripe, for the Youth of Goa to prepare for the Elections 2022 armed with tangible Political Innovation; ready with a viable unifying People’s Progressive Party with which all the people of Goa will feel secure and confident of. This is all the more important, in case AAP also fails to keep its promises, only to be next shown the door out. Thus, the mantle of leadership will have to be next borne by credible Goan Youths, once ready to accept the challenge of political leadership, vigorously.
Until such a change becomes a reality, gross sorrowing will only continue to lie upon our land! God forbid it!! So, Long Live, GOA, of our dreams!
