Souls’ Story on Souls’ day

I place before my gentle readers, interesting views from a Wiseman about the soul.
The Bible says, “The Lord God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.” Here the breath of God is the spirit or soul. It is the special life-giving power which makes the body a functioning organism.
A pure godly ‘soul’ turns impure and corrupt by using God given free will, with the link of the mind and through the human body, plays its role of desires and vices and gets stained.
The Bible says, “On the Day of Judgment all who are in the graves will hear His voice. Their bodies will be transformed from a natural body to a spiritual body — which will be joined to their spirits coming with Christ from heaven. And those who have done good will come to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” This will immediately be followed by the rapture of living believers who will be caught up in the cloud to meet the Lord in the air.” In short the second coming of the Lord is to resurrect the body and join it with the spirit.
The spirit or soul is believed to be eternal but only good spirits go to eternal life and the  evil-spirits are destroyed in hell for the Bible says: “… do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”
God know how to do destroy the spirit.  “If he did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell; if he did not spare the ancient world, when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued righteous Lot, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men. If this is so, then the Lord knows how to save the godly from judgment and to keep the unrighteous for the Day of Judgement.”
Some believe, not just humans, but all living beings have souls that even the tiniest insect or single celled animal is thought to possess a soul and have rebirth and in different forms, in accordance with one’s karma which means, one becomes good by good actions and bad by bad actions. The idea of afterlife through reincarnation involves spiritual promotion to a higher form of being or demotion to a lower; but the souls of wise persons escape the birth-death cycle by good actions and attains paradise or nirvana, merging with the eternal universal soul — Supreme Power.
This is the story of souls.
