The negative Illusionist

In today’s busy world, we are all burdened with a lot of pressure to handle from relationship, work and society. Have you ever thought about what causes this pressure, what is the root of this so-called condition termed as ‘Depression?’ Well, let’s start with an example. If you water a small plant with clean water and organic fertilizers, the plant will bloom and grow healthy but if you take away the nutrients it needs, it will dry up and die.
Look at this example as a part of our daily lives. If we could feel our minds with positive thoughts, we could be healthy and sound but if we become negative thinkers, we end up filling ourselves with unrealistic illusions which makes us feel less needed and end up in depression. A negative attitude is so common in people we meet nowadays. Everyone has drowned themselves in their own worlds as they believe their dreams are better than reality.
When a difficult situation arises, an individual finds it difficult to cope with the sudden changes and allows the mind to get affected with negativity. This encloses that person from reaching out to positivity at that moment.
A person suffering from low self-esteem ends up in depression. When one fails to see the potential and abilities in themselves, they outsource their needs to negativity. Questions and thoughts such as, “I am not good enough to be accepted, nobody likes me, why should I live this way” are what their minds filled up with.
Moody people or most unsocial people go through this phase called depression. They cannot understand how to deal with their emotions or how to react so they tend to move away from possible situation of going through emotions like pain or sadness. People end up labelling themselves as ugly, unwanted or rejected.
At this very point, one needs to make a decision to step out of the situation and analyze it from a different angle. In another words, becoming a positive thinker by reconstructing oneself. How inappropriate it is for an individual to cage themselves up, chain up their confidence and allow themselves to feel inferior.
Positive thinking is not only a fruit for the mind but a treasure for the soul. Think of a better way to handle any situation, is what a positive person would do. “How do I understand and comprehend what has happened and find a way out of it without it consuming the best part of it?” this is a thought of a positive thinker.
Negative thinking can have a huge impact on an individual as well as the people around them. It’s like suddenly what is perceived by the negative illusionist terms out to look like the truth when it is in reality just an illusion.
Why should you allow yourself to feel the worse part of the situation? It’s like punishing yourself for what has occurred. Something you cannot change, instead look at the brighter side and find out ways to make yourself feel better. Destroy the negative thoughts that come by replacing them with positive and encouraging thoughts. It’s all about looking beyond what you can see.
No one is telling you to stop feeling all your emotions neither turn you into stone but to help you realize that depression is not an illness and it can be dealt with if only you choose to change the way yourself and your life. Once you believe in yourself, you will understand and experience a meaningful existence and also appreciate a balance state of mental well being.
