Treasure Trove of Creativity

Our education system will benefit immensely if there is compulsory introduction of a subject, even as an extra-curricular activity in which young minds in high schools and colleges are allowed to display their proclivity for various creative ideas. It is very essential that students get an opportunity to unleash their creative potentials in workshops wherein new ideas and concepts are being allowed to add to the creative pool of ideas. Innovation is a thing in which new ideas are being disseminated by allowing creative thinking and even by incorporating them in day to day activities so as to allow students to contribute towards a subject in which their innate inclination are given the freedom to express and even be adapted in various fields.
At high school level and in the colleges, students should be given the opportunity to express their intrinsic ideas in physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, commerce, economics, art, arts, architecture, astronomy, astrophysics, medicine, engineering and astrology and other fields so that it serves as an indicator as to what field the student is naturally inclined towards. This will serve as an indicator of views on each one’s subject of excellence and will thus be a study in assisting to act as self-exploration or a vocational training meant for the particular student to unfurl his or her subject where they shall shine as a result of revealing their inherent leaning and many-a-times expertise. Many of these ideas may be new and never before expressed, which could add to the variety of opinions and may be corroborated by reasoning to make it acceptable to those who read or refer to it.
The pool of new ideas can be documented so that it acts as a reference wherein these ideas become relevant for incorporating in areas where they are referred to. These new concepts will act as having the value of research done on the topic in which it dwells upon.
Learning should entail the freedom of expression of one’s views and ideas so that these become indicators of the students’ area of excellence. Book knowledge is many-a-times not so diverse as free flowing ideas and are mostly meant to impart tunnel vision and narrow avenues while free flowing thoughts increase the diversity of the various contributors to the pool of ideas.
Every individual is given an inherent talent in a particular field and it is this particular talent which should be explored and given opportunities for reference and usage in the various fields of human endeavour.
This way also, the contributions of every individual is documented and thus everyone is given an opportunity to reveal his or her opinions, many of which may be path-breaking and not run-of-the mill. These contributions will also instill a sense of achievement in every individual which is an important aspect in the development of self-esteem and confidence.
