Voice of People is Voice of God

The investigation of Old Goa khaki brutes were not able to ferret out the truth, of murder or drowning of Father Bismarque. They missed the leads; for they lack the skills. They did a shoddy job; and allowed, an offense, to slip through their hands. They humiliated and harassed innocent men, women and  priests who assembled to pray for the death of Fr Bismarque Dias.
People who were divided on religious grounds, rose with one voice for their activist priest gave up his priestly duties to work for the religion of  humanity; He worked for Hindus and Christians when Canacona was submerged; when the government was  grabbing poor farmer’s land through ordinance, bringing golf courses, more casinos, Mopa airport, facilitating land sharks. It is rightly said, that bad governance days are those with no control on robberies; no control on rapes; no control on illegal activities on coastal belts. Like the ostrich it buries its head in the ground so that it cannot see the source of advancing danger.
Justice belongs to God, which requires no proof as He can directly see how the heart feels, the mind thinks and the individual acts. When we think of earthly justice, we see a woman with a pair of scales in her hands, which she weighs us in the balance where there is enough room for cheating because there is a blindfold over her eyes.
No one can impose one’s views and force others to accept them. In democracy, we have a fundamental right to give our opinion on a public platform on political issues. We also have the fundamental right to annoy a politician if he is perceived to be not doing his job or is corrupt. That is what we are doing. Look around at the candle light processions in darksome nights asking for earthly justice, for they have no faith in the Goa Police; see the hordes of people protesting, which shows that they don’t believe in all the statements of CM to the media about  the death of of Fr Bismarque.
Public anger is coming to a boil as there are many questions that remain unanswered and suspicions surrounding the death of  Fr Bismarque Dias. Anger is Nature’s way of attaining desirable ends. It is like a psychological knife that can be used to carve or to kill. A social activist who feels no anger can never provoke change.
Fr Bismarque  died in harness doing his job assigned to him by his Creator to save Goa’s natural beauty from being plundered by money grabbers. From reports on newspapers about Fr Bismarque’s death, it appears that like the blood of Abel in Genesis chapter 4 of the Bible, the blood of Fr Bismarque Dias, shouts on Goan roads as to why the police did not act upon the complaints lodged by Fr Bismarque  before his mysterious death.
The blood of Fr Bismarque Dias cries out to the Lord in Heaven. It appears to me, that the invisible hand of God has shown Goans the vest with blood-like stains at the Babal gate of St Estevam.
