Why are Goans opting for Portuguese Passports?

It has become a fashion for some of late to raise the Portuguese nationality issue to settle personal scores against others in Goa.  First of all, I really don’t understand why some individuals posing as ‘patriots’ are unnecessarily trying to portray Goans who have acquired Portuguese passports as anti-nationals, if not hardcore criminals  through the local media to distract everyone from real issues in Goa.  It’s a known fact that Goans who have acquired Portuguese passports with the sole intention of  migrating with their entire families in the UK in the near future are mostly Catholics and they have done this only with one single purpose/agenda, to make their children’s future secure.
Today what is the government really doing to improve the living conditions of Goans and to stop them from leaving Goa for good?  Absolutely nothing.  In fact, the government is only seen distributing stale lollipops in the form of schemes to make Goans living here to live like political slaves, if not beggars for life to keep them forever poor/backward.  Today, if Goans are leaving Goa with a heavy heart then its only because they are fed up living here like struggling beggars as most private jobs (including the so-called ‘white-collar’ jobs) offer them peanut salaries and due to which unlike the rich (who are fortunately always born with a golden spoon in their mouth), they cannot even imagine of giving good higher education for their children or think of buying a small plot at  a cheaper rate anywhere to construct a simple house even after working here during their entire lifetime.
They even find government jobs hard to get as these too are given for candidates exclusively based on religion by our respective governments which are run by communal elements from behind in Goa.  Whereas advanced European countries like UK offer a lot for courageous and positive thinking open-minded Goans, including the unskilled ones.
Of course, most Goans might not be getting white-collar jobs, due to which they might be doing odd jobs in UK but these jobs are definitely worth the salt as they give the right value for one’s own individual skills and help everyone to fulfill all their dreams. Forget other facilities like pension, the UK government offers the best of free quality education for children of all nationalities whereas we Goans have to pay huge sums of money even to give a simple  mediocre primary education for our children in Goa/India.
I think that the government of the day should stop politicizing the Portuguese nationality issue for political gains and instead should try to solve the same at the very earliest in Goa because finally it should understand that the main reason why Goans are opting for Portuguese passports today  is not to go on sightseeing tours in the UK but to go to make a living and to make their children’s future secure.  Until the government does not understand this simple fact, the exodus of Goans will continue because the one thing everyone knows by now is that the only people who are currently flourishing here in Goa are those who lick the butts of our corrupt politicians, who sell private properties for outsiders/builders cheating others, run all filthy activities like drugs, prostitution, gambling dens etc and who unfortunately are branding all true-blooded Goans migrating in foreign countries to fill their family stomachs as anti-nationals.
