Bengaluru actor, influencer among 11 arrested in director assault case

Bengaluru police arrested 11 people, including a woman actor and social media influencer, over the alleged kidnapping, assault, and robbery of Kannada director TA Anish. The incident followed a financial dispute involving unpaid loans and investment disagreements related to his film Jeevanada Bhashe.

Anish, originally from Tamil Nadu, filed a complaint on February 11 after sustaining injuries to his hands and legs. Police said he had traveled from Mumbai to Bengaluru to sell his car and was lured to a house near Indiranagar, where five to six people attacked him with cricket stumps and hockey sticks. They demanded he withdraw earlier complaints and delete evidence.
