Karnataka Police Arrest Man Who Threatened Minister Priyank Kharge Over RSS Ban Proposal

Karnataka Police have arrested a man who threatened Priyank Kharge, Minister for RDPR, IT, and BT, over his proposal to ban Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activities in public places.

The accused, identified as Danappa Naroni, also known as Danesh, a resident of Solapur district in Maharashtra, was apprehended in Latur on Thursday. The arrest resulted from a joint operation by the Kalaburagi district police and Bengaluru Police.

Officials said the accused had made a threatening and abusive phone call to Minister Kharge before leaving his hometown and relocating to Latur. He is being brought to Bengaluru for further investigation and is expected to arrive in the state capital by tonight.
