PANJIM: The Panjim police on Thursday arrested a 26-year-old Mysore (Karnataka) native for allegedly stealing approximately Rs 4.18 lakh cash from a business firm in the capital. Police said the accused is absconding and efforts are on to trace him.
In another case, Chitra Sen Bhanja, employed at a city restaurant is arrested for allegedly stealing Rs 25,000 cash from the ‘tip box.’ The alleged accused is a native of Odisha and is in the police custody.
