BICHOLIM: Bicholim police on Thursday arrested 33-year-old Navanath Bablo Gaonkar, a resident of Gauthan-Sanquelim as the suspect in connection with the murder of 44-year-old Dhanashree D Morajkar from Ravan-Sattari.
It may be recalled that, Bicholim police had recovered the body of Morajkar at Kulan, Sanquelim on Friday. Police had initially taken 10 suspects into custody. However, after interrogation seven were released on Wednesday.

On Thursday, three suspects were in the custody of Bicholim Police. Amongst the three, Navanath Gaonkar escaped from the police station at around 7 pm and climbed a tree at Vathadev, Bicholim on Wednesday. However, Bicholim police on Thursday nabbed him at around 4 pm and released the remaining two suspects.
